A Phonak TVLink II is a solution for those who want to improve their TV listening experience. It works in combination with the either ComPilot/Compilot II or Compilot Air II and allows your television to link up wirelessly with your hearing aids. It can also work with other entertainment devices. It can also be used as a charger for your compatible streaming device and has two different inserts to allow for the difference in sizes between the ComPilot Air and the ComPilot and ComPilot II.
The transmission is really fast and provides great quality sound. The television can be used at normal volume while the transmitter allows the sound to be sent straight to the hearing aids. This means that it can easily be listened to by someone with hearing aids as well as by someone without them.
It is quick and easy to install and covers up to 30 meters. It is easy to change the digital volume using audiovisual feedback. It does not include a streaming device – it has to purchased separately. Unlike some other models, it accepts a digital audio signal. It may be necessary to change the programming on open-fit hearing aids to avoid an echo effect when using the TV Link II. This can be done by your audiologist.
